I love the spontaneity and speed of watercolour. I feel it lends itself to portraiture.

I have always dabbled in art but have really taken to playing with watercolours since attending a watercolour evening class at the Left Bank gallery. I love how the paint moves and seems to take on a life of its own.
Artist Statement
How I was affected
COVID for me was lots of quality time with my family. Being able to spend so much time with my husband and children was the silver lining of this otherwise terrible time. My children are turning into adults in front of my eyes and I wanted to capture this change in my paintings.
